Class 6/Ritual Astrology School
THE CRAFT: THE SIXTH HOUSE OF ASTROLOGY IN YOUR CHART
Wednesday, September 4 at 6pm
The sixth house of astrology represents your craft, that special skill you are developing that can be put to work for yourself and the world. The sixth house of astrology has a bad rap. In traditional astrology, it was even known as the house of bad fortune, a place of illness and servitude. In modern astrology, we see the shadow and light of each house, and we’ve interpreted the sixth house to encompass wellness and deep care.
While the sixth house sets the limits of our earthly forms, it is also a fertile training grounds where we can test our skills and learn how to take care of ourselves and others. When we fully experience the limits of our mortality and realize we only have so much time and energy in this life, we can choose to dedicate ourselves to our highest work. Our progress on our own mortal journey has the potential to create waves of healing that can be felt long after we’ve retired.
In class, you’ll receive a report and chart on your sixth house. You’ll become acquainted with the sign and planets inhabiting your sixth house, as well as the planetary ruler that presides over it. And you’ll evaluate the condition of your sixth house placements based on planetary aspects and transits.
Water and tea will be served, and because this takes place during dinnertime, please feel free to bring your own snacks.
PLEASE NOTE: It is recommended that you come to class with a basic knowledge of the parts of a birth chart: the signs, planets and houses of astrology. If you need a primer, you can schedule to take the first class in person or online at witchyheights.com/booking.
