Ritual Astrology School in St. Pete
A series of monthly classes designed to train you to read your own birth chart and develop your practical magic.
Each month, we’ll delve into one house of astrology at a time, with focus on your unique birth chart. Jump into the classes at any time — the vibe is a casual circle of friends helping each other to interpret, and each class is followed by a voluntary coven meetup to develop community and rituals. Classes are available in person in St. Pete on a monthly schedule, and online or in person by appointment — see booking page for full schedule.
All levels are welcome, but to get the most out of each class, you should have a very basic understanding of the parts of a birth chart: the signs, planets and houses of astrology. Need an orientation to the birth chart or missed a class date? You can take the primer above by appointment, and you can share the session with one friend.
Upcoming Classes:
The Rituals: The Third House of Astrology & the Goddess Energy in Your Chart
Class 3/Ritual Astrology School: If you were to have complete freedom in this life, what would your days look like? In this class, we’ll discuss the third house of astrology, referred to as “the Goddess” by traditional astrologers. It is the house of daily life, communication, local communities and short journeys. As we explore the third house, we will also discuss the rituals that infuse our days with joy and divine inspiration.
The Roots: The Fourth House of Astrology & the Underworld in Your Chart
Class 4/Ritual Astrology School
Thursday, June 20 at 6 pm or
Wednesday, July 3 at 6 pm
Ready to fall down the rabbit hole? We’ll explore the fourth house of astrology, considered by traditional astrologers as “the Underworld” place in the birth chart, as it is the lowest house in the astrological wheel. The fourth house represents home, ancestry and the most private spaces within ourselves. We’ll dig into your specific underworld house and what it means to engage in shadow work with astrology.
The Playground: The Fifth House of Astrology & the Place of Joy in Your Chart
Class 5/Ritual Astrology School
Monday, July 22 at 6 pm or
Monday, August 5 at 6 pm
The fifth house of astrology is considered the house of good fortune in traditional astrology. It is the house of pleasure, romance, creativity, children & childhood. Your fifth house placements provide insight into the ways you play and what makes your heart soar—or what makes your heart sore, if deprived of your most natural forms of experience and expression. In this class, we’ll explore your fifth house placements and share rituals to promote pleasure and play.
The Altar: The Second House of Astrology & the Gates of Power in Your Chart
Class 2/Ritual Astrology School: What is your special power? In this class, we’ll descend into the second house of astrology, traditionally referred to as “the Gates of Hades,” the portal into the subterranean houses of the birth chart. The second house is your personal place of power, encompassing all the resources and practical skills you have to work with. The home altar will serve as the night’s ritual focal point, as it represents the gateway between the physical and spiritual worlds, through which we offer and receive our most powerful resources.
The Rulers: A Primer on the Planets & Houses of Astrology
“The Rulers” is the first in a series of astrology courses designed to provide you with the foundations for deeper self- and group-study. Kick off the astrological new year with a cohort of astrology students at the inaugural course, taking place on the first full moon lunar eclipse of 2024.
